Developed through 40 years of natural science research, ingredient research, and product commercialization technology, this lotion is the result of 16 years of research into Japanese herbal plant-derived ingredients based on the concept of Kampo (Chinese medicine). The active ingredient "W-Glycyrrhetinic acid stearyl" derived from licorice was approved and commercialized by Sekka Sei.

KOSÉ's original whitening and anti-aging active ingredients address two internal skin stagnation problems that impede transparency: melanin stagnation and roughness stagnation.
